Hotel Rex - San Francisco, USA

Stayed 3 nights in a single queen room. Smaller than a normal hotel room and no view to speak of (window facing west). Didn't feel cramped, but definitely not a place just to "hang out." Ideal place to stay if you're going to be out and about a lot because it's very close to many cool things (Union Square, Cable car, BART station). Room was clean. Didn't eat at the restaurant. Overall, a nice, quaint place to crash after seeing San Fran.

The hotel has a nice/cozy bar and welcomes its guest with a wine reception after 5pm. It is walking distance from china town and in the middle of many shops and stores. The room was very small and the TV was out dated. This hotel seemed to be very over priced for the worth. I would have rather stayed in a less convenient place and spent less for more amenities, and parking was an additional $40, that is crazy considering how much money I spent to stay one night, and the hotel staff was very smug about collecting this fee that I was not informed of when they offered to park my car.

This hotel is very classy, warm, inviting, comfortable and quaint! Exceptional staff, everyone! I've never been disappointed, but this was absolutely the best service, I've experienced yet.

Very cozy and convenient hotel. The Rex has a very boutique feel to it. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bar is also very cozy, with friendly bartenders and a daily complimentary glass of wine which is a nice bonus!
