Overall, this motel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful, but not all desk clerks were fluent in English. One big issue for us - there were two of us in the room, but they would not give us but one washcloth each day until the last day. Parking provided by the motel was tight, but parking in San Francisco is at a premium anyway. The TV/internet service went out for several hours one day, but the outage was area wide - not the motel's fault. Definitely good for folks on a budget. If you like lots of space in your room, this is not for you. If you just need a clean, comfortable place to sleep after sightseeing all day, this will work. Didn't see any other rooms but ours. I'm not sure this would be a great place for kids. Not anything for them to do on-site. Restautent on-site was open for breakfast and lunch only. No dinner. But it was close to other places to eat. (a few blocks) Only 3 blocks from the cable car line. Muni stop was very close too.

Nothing fancy, would stay there again

For the price of this hotel, it wasnt bad at all. Free parking, nice people and very close to attractions.

We stayed at the broadway manor in july with our 3 children (3 and under). The hotel truly made our family trip to san francisco a memorable one. The staff was very accommodating, they were there to take care of our needs from providing us with directions to helping us with the tours. The room was impressive and we had learned from the front desk clerk that the entire building that been renovated, therefore making our room even more enjoyable to stay in. My husband and I felt like we were on vacation too (and that is hard to do with 3 little ones) as we were touring the city and just really enjoying what san francisco has to offer. When we travel back to san francisco we would like to stay at the broadway manor again as we really enjoyed our stay.

i booked this motel first and THEN thought to look it up on this site... therefore i was quite apprehensive due to the mixed reviews... the place was easy to find, reception is dull and lifeless, reception staff was not exactly unfriendly but certainly lacking welcoming and helpful attitude, we weren't given any maps or offers about tours etc. parking is very tight and limited but free of charge, suggest you arrive early. the room itself was clean ( if you can overlook the toenail clipping i found on my bedspread...gulp) and newly renovated with all amenities one could wish for but very noisy from the room above. the outstanding location and price were great value for money and i chose to come back for another night a few days later.
