Some things were better in our last visit's room-long hall to bathroom with coffee maker on counter and better view. But this time we had a lovely, large spa tub in a huge bathroom. Breakfast is included -a good buffet with scrambled eggs, pastries, sausage would prefer bacon], very good coffee. Very convinient to great restaurants-Etoile? Very good concierge got us into the latter at short notice.. Read review

I stayed at the Inn with a group of 40 friends. We have been visiting Napa for about 12 years. I was absolutely stunned at the experience I had. I arrived Saturday after a flight from the east coast. After checking in (room 101), I decided to take a nap before dinner. I immediately realized the noise from the traffic was too loud to sleep. When I called the front desk the hotel rep. said it is just busy today because it's Saturday and it is crush time in Napa so it's more noisy than usual; but, she said it would quiet down in the evening. In fact, it was quiet from 12:00 to 3:00 a.m. Then one truck after another constantly rolled by my window all morning. The noise was unbelievable. I told them I was exhausted and really needed to sleep. Unfortunately they were booked that day. So I went another night without sleep. I was absolutely exhausted. I went to the front desk to ask if I could use the EMPTY computer at the conceirge's desk (since they told me I could the day before and logged me on) only to have a "guest service manager" tell me they shouldn't have let me use it and I would need to walk to Villagio to use the business center. I walked there and found one computer in use by another guest. All in all it took 40 minutes to print one page that I could have printed in 1 minute. The room rate was $375.00 a night....I think they can afford a computer on site at the Vintage.

I expressed my discontent with the room again and my inability to sleep to another guest service manager who said the room is usually quieter than any room on the property I invited him to come stand in the room to listen to the traffic (which he did) and was finally offered a quieter room on the interior of the hotel. Room 101 is a "Villa" and much nicer than the smaller interior rooms.....but you will never be able to sleep! It is literally 10 feet from main street! I was literally going to move to the econolodge in downtown Napa because I couldn't go another day without sleep. DON'T STAY HERE. IT ISN'T WORTH THE MONEY. I PAID $350 - $400 PER NIGHT TO COUNT SHEEP.

Stayed at this rather large inn [it used to be a vineyard] after almost 9 years. It has remained the same, in a good way. Not shabby and quite welcoming and glamorous. Pleasant, comepetant staff. The rooms appear to differ. It was quite cold in Dec.-preferred weather of Sept. Free afternoon tea with wine and cheese Fridays.
Very convinient to great restaurants-Etoile ? at Domaine Chandon, Buchon, Redd, Bistro Jeanty and French Laundry. Very good concierge got us into the latter at short notice. But that is another story!
