What Travellers Like
- But to my surprise when I arrived at the Heritage Marina Inn, I was greeted very well by their front desk agents. The airlines had misplaced my bags at the airport. Upon conveying that to the front desk, they said they will be more than happy to receive the bags when they came and sure enough, everything was taken care of. As per the hotel was concerned, it had a beautiful lobby, a lovely pool side and I enjoyed their free continental breakfast. I was not driving, but it seemed that the hotel also offered free parking which I am sure would be a great benefit to those with cars. The rooms were well maintained and overall I enjoyed my experience in San Francisco.. Read review

Posted: Mar 27, 2011 - We booked this room thru the internet based on a few key factors. This hotel is in a fairly central location at the good end of town. We needed room for two adults& two kids,we needed a fairly central location & we wanted a pool & breakfast included. It is an older styed hotel, with older fittings & bathrooms - BUT it was clean,fresh smelling, no mould in the bathroom or anything nasty etc.. Read review

We were perfectly satisified with the room, which overlooked the pool, and thought the breakfast buffet offered an excellent selection. The pool itself was lovely, and we spent a couple of hours in and by it! Our only gripe would be the parking - it really is a tight fit if you're driving anything bigger than a saloon car, but that's a very small niggle compared to everything else that is good about the hotel. Yes, the corridors are a bit run down, and the rooms aren't luxurious, but they are spacious - although they don't have air con, surprisingly - and clean, and when we stayed it was really quiet at night, which is very important to us..
