Great location and very nice hotel. Very helpful staff and other furniture. Quirky old elevator and warm, the comfy seating by the fireplaces. The sheets clean, reasonable breakfast.

Well located in the Japanese area of SF, a friendly welcome and helpful staff - especially Rita at the front desk was a constant source of useful advice served up. Our room was clean and the breakfast offered every morning was fresh.

Great location, charming atmosphere out of the chaos of union square and some helpful staff then don’t come here. The rooms are so nice and breakfast is well presented.

The downstairs common areas were very spacious and comfortable, very basic hotel yes was full of old charm, the staff were helpful and courteous. The bathroom was clean too and offers free breakfast in the morning too was very nice.
