The rooms and common areas were also very well maintained and every staff member from the front desk to the housekeeping staff was friendly and greeted us. We were particularly impressed with the great follow-up and personal service. We were asked on our second day by a front-desk staff member if someone had told us about a sightseeing package that had been left for us, and we were appreciated access to the computer and printer in the lobby. The refrigerator and microwave in the room help, too, so you can add some comforts of home. The free high-speed wireless Internet throughout the property was great, but we needed their lobby system to print off our boarding passes and all was in good order. The only (relatively small complaints) we had are 1) the small parking garage under the hotel has very narrow parking spaces and you must maneuver around the frequent (and large) poles to get into a spot 2) the free continental breakfast closes at 9:30 a. The staff was extremely courteous, the proximity to Sea World fantastic, and the rooms incredibly spacious, clean, and modern. I was a little dissapointed tto find that there was no Sea World shuttle service (like I had read somewhere online), but the two-day-for-the-price-of-one Sea World tickets were a big plus. They do have a computer with high speed for public use in the lobby, which served us well for getting directions places or finding restauants.. Read review

I would "echo" all positive comments I read above regarding spacious rooms and clean bedding which almost appeared to be new. The staff were helpful and represented their jobs very well. Parking is "tight" but safe, no charge, and available. It is true the pool is on the small side and view not the best, but above things far out weighed these. Breakfast bar was very adequate and the lady who attended to it was so nice.. Read review

We chose this hotel because it was one of the few with free parking, free breakfast, and room to sleep six, for less than $100. It's very clean and comfortable, the breakfast is good, the service is good. The parking is tight, as others mentioned, but we were okay with our minivan.. Read review

We reall enjoyed this hotel. The room was very clean. The breakfast saved us at least $150.00 The breakfast consisted of omlettes or scrambled eggs and bacon or sauasge with ceral,toast, bagels, and yogurt. They did not run out either. It was always well stocked. We did find that the earlier the better for eating breakfast. Only 7 tabels so fills up quick. The hotel was centrally located to all attractions. We stayed here 6 days and would stay here again.
As far as tips for this area. If you are not used to Claifornia driving defenitely rent a GPS with you car rental. It was a life-saver for us. Our other Tips would be if you're spening more than 3 days, purchase a GO San Diego card. It pays for all your tickets in advance. It does not cover Sea World but everyting else.
The hotel was clean and the service there was excellent, whenever we needed help the front desk was nice and prompt. Breakfast was from 6-9 so we really didnt eat there much. Covered parking made me feel more secure leaving my car there overnight. The only negatives I have for this place are that it is right in front of a 'shady' looking thrift store, so at night I never wanted to go out alone and that there was a little part of the room had not been finished being painted, but we hardly spent any time at the hotel, overall it was a good buy.
Up the road is an olive garden and a bunch of fast food places, so you will never go hungry!

The parking was tight as others have described, but we had a full size car and managed just fine. The price for parking was right compared with other places here. Free parking under cover, free wireless internet, and a good breakfast every morning at no extra charge. The bed was very comfortable, and the bath towels were great. We were never very far from where we wanted to go. It's not the Hilton, but we didn't expect it to be. We would definitely stay here again.
