Negatives: Upon arrival we were greeted by terrible service. The desk attendant was on the phone the entire time during our check in and never actually said anything directly to us. Once we got to the room, we were greeted by a strong urine smell outside of the door. The toilet got clogged immediately and nearly overflowed, took ages for someone to show up and remedy this. One of the light sockets in the shower was empty and dangling wires. Not very clean at all. The breakfast was very weak and they were skimpy with the towels. Positives: Even though the pool was small, it was fun and still served its purpose. The same neglectful desk attendant was able to give us plenty of help with directions. It was close to the freeway for easy access (but not very close to any of the places we wanted to go ie the beach and the wild animal park). For the price we paid, i expected better. We won't be staying here again. Ever.

There were ants all over the bathroom sink area. The beds were comfortable, though we could never get to sleep.
The staff at this hotel were inexperienced and unfriendly. The location was the worst part of our stay, this hotel is situated by the port and train tracks.

This motel was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. There were ants all over the bathroom sink area. The wall need a new coat of paint. Our neighbor was up all night long and had many different visitors coming in and out that were loud and obnoxious. The walls are paper thin. If you don't plan on sleeping this is the hotel for you. The beds were comfortable, though we could never get to sleep. The staff at this hotel were inexperienced and unfriendly. The location was the worst part of our stay, this hotel is situated by the port and train tracks. This area was unsafe and scary at times. Best part of our stay was leaving.

A few bad things about this hotel: 1. Security is a one big problem--- since it is located right next to the freeway, you'll see a long line of trucks in front. It seems like truckers stay at this hotel, share rooms and sleep overnight. You'll hear them talking at night outside of the rooms. 2. The inside walls need repainting---the white walls are now brown-black. The bathrooms are dirty and stinky. I had to ask the housekeeper to clean the bathroom because of the smell but after that, there was no change at all. 3. Some of the front desk personnel were unhelpful 4. The picture on the website is an exaggeration. You wouldn't even dare to step on the jacuzzi as soon as you see it. 5. Everyday we were there, the maids kept on knocking on our door even with the no disturb sign in front. I can understand they can't speak english but I don't understand why the management can train them what not to disturb sign means.
