I find it to be one of the best hotels in SoCal. The hotel is very much like the The Del Coranado, but it happens to be a little more modern and about 10% of the size. The location is perfect. The rooms run about 500 clams ($US) per night, so I'm not going to call this expensive. If you are shelling out this kind of cash, then you sholdn't be too price sensitive. There is a lot of coin being thown around in this place, but the crowd is typically vacation type out-of-towners and people having a nice relaxing beach type good time. For the money, you are not getting a Beverly Hills type attitude problem, so that is good.. Read review

From the time of arrival, right through departure, the staff is first class. The valet staff acted like family, the front desk staff were warm, and the wait staff at food venues were relaxed and professional.. Read review
