The extra-large bathroom was also very nice. We went in November and were able to get a great deal on the suite. The only thing we didn't like so much was the parking fee of $20/day.. Read review

The trip was a birthday present for my girlfriend and I wanted to make sure that our accomodations were nothing but the best and I will whole heartedly report that the Pacific Terrace is worth every dollar and considering we got upgraded to a Junior Oceanview Suite for free it was unbeatable! The staff was very accomodating and the rooms were very clean. Parking was not a problem, since there are street parking around the the hotel.. Read review

We just returned from staying at the Pacific Terrace Hotel in May 2004. Everyone was very friendly, especially to our 2 boys, ages 4 & 7. I have traveled to many nice hotels and Pacific Terrace rates as one of my favorites! Lots of extra touches, from the chocolates/turn down service every evening to the bathrobes. Even though Pacific Beach shopping isn't the best, stay at Pacific Terrace.. Read review

We absolutely loved our night's stay at the Pacific Terrace. We stayed midweek, mid May, and were upgraded from a Garden room to an ocean view room. Room pictures on the website don't match what we got. I think they have upgraded the rooms since the web photos. Two queen beds were massive, really high, quite throne like.. Read review

I am shocked that online travel website only gave this hotel 3 stars because it's much more deserving of 4-4.5. The staff was very friendly and really made sure we were comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the view was phenominal! It was our 15 year anniversary and it really made it nice to stay in such a great hotel. I would stay there again in a heartbeat with no concerns.
The hotel was rated at a four star, it should be higher. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and very good size. The views from the room we were in were stunning. I would recomend this hotel for anyone, my family and i will stay many times in the future. It was an unexpected joy.
The Pacific Terrace is a great place to stay, this was our 2nd time, and I have to say there were some differences from 2 yrs ago. The staff wasn't nearly as friendly and accomodating, and when we checked in, I was really pushed to pay the $ extra per night to park my car on their property. It used to be a cost only if parking in their garage and not outside, which would have been nice if I was told that before I arrived. We also had a problem with our sink backing up (twice) but to their credit they were prompt in sending someone up to fix it right away. Also be aware they have a strict 10PM curfew of no noise, and they will ask you to leave the pool/jacuzzi area promptly at 10 even on weekends whether you are quiet or not. It has a great location along the beach, and the rooms are very clean - maids come twice a day which is a nice touch!
The room was really nice, there was a large flat panel TV in the room and the veiw was beautiful. The staff was extremely pleasent and helpful. We will definitely come back. Very nice location , with a lot of good resturants in the area. We have a 4 year old and the staff called around to help us find a restaurant that had mac and cheese on the menu..how awesome is that?
