My boyfriend's toilet was not fushing completed and his television had snow and/or it was very fuzy. He notified the front desk when he returned to the hotel the toilet was still clogged and the television still was fuzzy. I guess housekeeping or the person who had the room previously tried to flush the entire piece of soap in the toilet which was too small to flush it all the weigh through. You could see some pieices of soap coming up and what ever was in the toilet trying to go around the soap. He stayed away from the room as long as he could on about second day I wrapped my hand completed with a towel and stuck it in the toilet to remove the large piece of soap that was clogging it up. If a hotel staff member would have come to fix the toilet they could have easily resolved the issue by doing the same. The guest should not have had to do it. The refrigerator was dirty and rusted, the micowave looked it they never try to wash it.

I visited this hotel through a airfare/hotel package deal. I got a great deal. The hotel is on a VERY busy street, so if you are looking for a peaceful area this is not for you. But I brought my 10 year old daughter and we were on the go so it was just fine for us. The front desk people were very pleasant and always helpful. Most of the housekeeping staff were very pleasant as well. The room is adequate but found the bathroom in need of some attention. Door was very dirty and the bathtub couldn't be used because of chipping, so we just took showers. One thing that I was pleased about was there was a patio to our room and the door actually opened, so we could enjoy the weather without leaving our room. The pool was a hit with my daughter. The pool area was well kept. And last but not least, the continental breakfast had enough variety that it kept us satisfied all week. Overall I was pleased with this hotel except for the bathroom.

I must admit that I was alittle hesitant booking a hotel room in the OBT area.I am a resident here in Orlando and very familiar with that area.Anyone who lives here in Orlando will tell you that the Orange Blossom Trail is known for it's busy road. I booked a room at the Baymont Inn and Suites for the Thanksgiving holiday and stood there with my boyfriend for 3 nights.I chose this hotel being that my home was full of family members and wanted some private time with my sweetie. The hotel was also pretty close to my home and just steps away from the mall and other retail stores I planned on visiting for Black Friday. Anyways, when we got there ,check in was pretty quick and the clerk was very helpful and friendly. We arrived to our room and the room was in excellent condition. The room was spotless, nice clean sheets, great comfortable bed..JUST GREAT! We were very surprised and loved our room. Breakfast was also very good.Good variety of food to choose from like bagels, french toast, pastries, fruit, yogurt, english muffins, raisin bread, cereal, coffee, juice ,hot chocolate and hard boiled eggs. The woman in charge of breakfast did a great job of keeping the trays full and kept everything clean and in order. She was very outgoing and we really enjoyed conversating with her every morning. There's really nothing for me to complain about with this hotel but I will tell ya that Baymont Inn is located close to train tracks and you get a loud wake up call every now and then..lol.. Not too bad though,it's only for about a minute or so.Our stay was GREAT and I'm glad we chose this hotel. We look forward to visiting again in a month or so when my sweetie gets back in town.
