"Well worth the money"Posted: Mon, Nov 23 2009Value:
3I booked this hotel over the net as a one night stay after a long flight from London. It was cheap, under ?45 a night for 2 people. Found the hotel easily and its right in the heart of the tourist area so you can walk to the shops and restaurant's if need be.
This is a basic hotel but it is very clean and i found the staff very helpful.
Big room which was a disabled room on the ground floor with a king size bed and a pull out sofa in the other room, Two TVs, fridge, microwave, Cd player, coffee maker ,small sink.
Bathroom was very large, clean and a nice powerful shower.
Included in the price was a hot breakfast which was OK but not great but for the price not bad , hot coffee, orange juice and toast for me and pancakes and waffles kept my other half happy.
The pool was small, heated and very clean. In the corner there was also a hot tub. In the evening between 5.30pm and 7.30 there is happy hour so free beer and spirits. Nice surprise.
We liked the hotel as a good based and stayed here for another 2 days before moving on, we wouldn't have moved if the pool area was bigger but as we were looking restful sun filled holiday we moved on to a 4 star resort . Would recommend this hotel as a good base for the theme parks and tourist area of International Drive.
Only really bad point was the car park , It was a bit on the small side and getting back late to the hotel we found no parking spaces so had to get a pass from reception that lets you park next door in TGI Friday's and bit of a walk back to the hotel.
