Ideally located hotel on I Drive Orlando in proximity to such entertainment parks as Sea World, Aquatica, Discovery Cove, Universal and Wet'n Wild. Hotel is reasonably priced and renovated what brings value for money to an excellent level. Room was spacious with two large and comfortable beds. The only thing was loudly working air conditioning, but still concerning all the rest I strongly recommend the property as an overnight place for the parks and International Drive entertainment.
i have never complained about a hotel ever, although i feel i must with this one so that others wont ruin their holiday!
i stayed in this motel last year when it was best western and it was great, so this year i booked the same to go 21st june -5th july...however my travel company failed to tell us it had changed hands and we only realised when we got our tickets! id hoped that the standards would match that of best western...i mean how far downhill can a place go in one year???
when we arrived the staff were soooo moody and unhelpful...i went to the hotel shop to ask all my questions the lady in there was ever so helpful. so we went up to our room and checked everything was ok as we'd read some bad reviews on here and the bathroom was a mess...the towel rail was off the wall and on the little floor space we had and the soot was all over the toilet. also the bath enamel was completly gone yuck! apart from that the room was good...or so we thought!
The next morning i woke to find ants crawling all on me, we turned on the light and there were tonnes around the sink and dressing table area. considering we were on the top floor i didnt think this was acceptable, you maybe expect a few bugs on the ground floor but i felt this just showed it was unclean. my concerns were cleared up when i found a chip under my bed...no wonder the ants loved it in our room!
when we went to complain about the ants they looked at us as if we were mad, and we seriously thought we were the only ones unlucky enough to get them. however on our last day soooo many people were complaining it was nice to know we wernt alone! they sprayed the ants for us but no such luck they were there every time the lights got turned out. we asked to move rooms but they were fully booked so we had to put up with the ants all of 2 weeks!
also best western had a fab shuttle to the park with various pick up and drop off times! econo offered stupid and sparse times that were completly unrealistic, i feel sorry for those with kids as the earliest pick up time for disney was 6...which when the bus leaves at 7.30 in the morn is way too long! so we never got the bus back instead we paid for a lynx or taxi.
this place is just so unclean and the reception dont care less. when you spend up to a grand on a hol you dont expect these kind of standards. im so dissapointed its really gone down hill!

Do not listen to the negative reviews on this hotel.
We stayed in this hotel for the last two weeks of June and after reading all the reviews, I was nervous to say the least about getting to the hotel but when I got to the room, I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed in block 3 facing into the pool area.
This is a budget hotel and is probably the main reason that most people have chosen this hotel so that like ourselves, they can keep the costs down and spend money other things such as the theme parks. Therefore if you go with high expectations that this is going to be a 5* hotel, then you will be bitterly disapointed when you arrive.
The rooms do not have the finest decor, the paint work is fading or yellowing but they are redecorating all rooms at the moment. The bathrooms aren't luxury marble but they are small with a bath, shower and toilet - adequate for what you need. You don't get a wardrobe, but you get a clothes rail and a few drawers. You don't get biscuits in your room but you get tea, coffee etc. There was a hairdryer, TV, Iron and Ironing Board, air conditioning. The room was cleaned every day, fresh towels every day, beds made every day, bed linen was changed every three days like most hotels. The reception area was clean and needed modernising but you are not there to sit in reception. The pool was clean, the bar was nothing special, they served drinks but not the place to spend an evening but you are on I Drive so why would you stay in the hotel?
We only had one problem during our stay and that was with the door lock, sometimes you had to fiddle with the handle for a few seconds before the door would open and a couple of times, the door wouldn't lock when we left the room but we called Reception and within seconds someone had arrived at the room to fix it.
To summarise you get a clean room which is suitable for its purpose, a place to store your belongings and sleep. This hotel is basic and that is why it is cheap. If you want a luxury hotel with nice wallpaper, nice furniture, beautiful reception area then you need to choose and pay for a more expensive hotel.
