After reading some of the other reviews of this hotel, I was feeling a little anxious about my stay. However, I am delighted to say that my experience was fantastic! Even though the room was basic, it suited my needs - the room was also in the older part of the hotel. The staff were always willing to help, and the barman was a real gentleman as well! It was great that the hotel was only a few mins walk to the underground, so made getting around quite easy. The breakfast was a great spread as well - a feast for a king! I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Lovely hotel...great pool...too bad towels were soooo scratchy. A great bargain with a wonderful location.

Just returned from Memorial Day stay at the Caribe. Rooms were clean, kids LOVED the pool. Hotel showed movies two nights for kids...that was a HUGE hit. Cafe Largo food was delicious and not too expensive. Shuttle to the park was great in the morning...took a long time to get home at the end of the day...but HEY..it was free. Only complaints are no fan in bathroom and the light switches were in weird places and the elevators...we stayed in Tower one and there were four elevators there but ONLY one working???? It took FOREVER to get up and down. But still...would recommend the Caribe. Patrick at the front desk and Christine at the concergie desk were extremely helpful. Waiter in the restaurant was a little surly, but we were having such a good time, we just ignored his sour mood.

We stayed for three days at the Caribe Royale Orlando before heading off to our Disney Cruise. The hotel was beautiful and in great proximity to the Super Target, Walmart and everything else we needed. It was a quick drive to any of the attractions and although they did offer a shuttle we took advantage of the free parking and rented a car so we could do what we wanted. There is a Ponderosa right across the street that has $3.99 Breakfast all you can eat buffet as well as a $5.99 lunch buffet. It is an amazing bargain for families and the food is always hot and fresh - the staff were super friendly and they even gave us coupons for further savings!! ( Which is great so you can spend money on other things!). The hotel pool is amazing -my boys spent hours at the waterslide and huge waterfalls. They also have a games room, a kids playground and a small separate kids waterpark. The kids loved the pool. We had a one bedroom suite and it was nice that we each had our own big screen LCD TV so we could watch what we wanted. The only downside is the slightly aggressive timeshare staff in the lobby but if you make it clear that you will NOT be attending any seminars they quickly leave you alone. Really fun, great deal, super quite and relaxing- this is a great hotel to stay at and a welcome break from the overcrowded, loud energy of the rest of Disney!! We would definitely come back again!

Money Well Spent

It was worth every dollar. If your looking for a nice quiet and relaxing place this would be it . We went there for 6 days / 5 nights and enjoyed every minute. The rooms were large and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located 15 minute drive from every theme park there is in Disney and Universal and Sea World. There is also a car rental at the hotel which helped, if you didn't want to rent at the airport. Overall I would come back again.
