Our first three nights were spent with my in laws (totaling 10 people) in a spacious 4 bedroom. We then moved to a two bedroom for our immediate family. Pool was close buy and not busy, fitness center was well equipped. Great location in relation to Disney theme parks (we could even see some of the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom).. Read review

Great Rooms and a Deli too! Posted: Thu, Dec 04 2008

Stayed at Lighthouse for 3 days with my family in Oct. Amazed at the size of the room and quality of the amenities for the price. The resort was only about 10 mins from Disney and about 15 from Universal, so it we weren't losing anything in not staying at a Disney resort (Our previous stay at a Disney resort was not as pleasant). Plus they have an amazing Deli on the compound. We grabbed some sandwiches before heading out to the parks every morning and left them in cooler in the car (didn't know if we could take them into the parks). Delicious Roast Beef sandwiches and the one called a Cuban was astounding. Definitely accented the trip. Finally, the pool area was nice with a walk-in entry for the small kids and a jacuzzi with a great view of the lake behind the complex for the tired adults. So after a long day of walking, hitting the jacuzzi with a beer from the poolside pub was a perfect way to relax.
One fancy hotel that boasts upscale rooms, service & amenities. We stayed in a 4 bedroom villa which offers two master bedrooms w/ huge private bathrooms along with 2 more bedrooms down the hall that shared a bathroom. Villas are fully furnished, nicely decorated & very clean. Comfortable beds (after having back surgery & suffering 2 years of post surgery pain) - I never had pain from beds. I can't say enough about this hotel - our son-in-law joined us on this trip & commented if we always travel like this in 1st class hotels (ha ha).
Spend time in the game room-shoot pool with the fam! A full service spa -my daughter is pregnant & got the mother-to-be massage - she loved it)! Two hhuge pools that are great for the entire family (my children range from 3 to 19 & everyone had an oppt'y to enjoy themselves. I got to watch them play volleyball from the huge hot tub. And talk about all-inclusive - there is a pool side bar & deli. The deli has everything from made to order sandwiches to t-shirts & nice souveniers. Nice b/c while the rooms have full kitchens-u can still order breakfast sandwiches on the way to the Disney parks.
Worth mentioning, while the hotel is not in the Disney circuit - the front desk helps arrange round-trip shuttles to any & all parks - just tell them when/where u want to go and walla - service! Even better, no other pickups or stops like @ Disney hotels. Here u are personally dropped off in front of the park & u tell them when u want them to pick you up.
Also! If fam is too tired, come back relax @ hotel & watch the fireworks from the hot tub!!
This was a beautiful hotel. It was actually a 2 bedroom condo with a full kitchen. The rooms were beautiful with tile, trim, and lush decor. The staff was a little slow at check-in, but that is being picky. The hotel is on US 192, so it's a touristy area. Once you are on property, though, you are surrounded by the landscpaed grounds.
We were able to get a great rate for the 2 nights we were there. We would definately stay again.
We stayed at this hotel with 2 other families, we stayed in one of the 3 bedroom villas. The place was great! Very clean and awesome. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The gym was nice too. This has become the hotel we always stay at when we go to see the mouse!

We never felt confined or crowded; we also had plenty of bathroom space (3+). I loved the FULL kitchen (it was missing nothing -- it even had a cheese grater), in room full laundry, three TV's, aroma therapy tub, and on and on.
