What Travellers Like

I cancelled my reservation 3 days in advance and received a cancellation number and they tell me I still must pay even though on their site it says if I cancel 24 hours in advance there is no fee. They made up an outright story that I booked the reservation at a site called buynow. When I told customer service there is no such site she said she didn't know what site it was booked under..
