I was very impressed with hotel when we got in at 11pm from driving 8 hours to go to Disney. The front desk was very courteous and helpful in getting us processed and into our room. I traveled with my husband and 3 children. I was actually surprised to see the high quality for the price that I paid during Spring Break week. The surrounding neighborhood was nice. We were within a short driving distance of alot of restaurants and shops. The room was clean, but a bit small for our family. It wasn't a major problem though b/c we were able to get a crib for my 2 year old daughter the second night of our stay. I don't know how many they have in the hotel, but all of them were taken. That was a minor inconvenience for one night. The latch lock on our room door was lose and eventually fell off that same night. I called the front desk and she immediately apologized and offered us another room. By that time, we just wanted to go to bed so we declined and waited for the maintenance person to fix it in the morning. He came early the next day and quickly repaired it. Breakfast was alot more than we expected so we were pleasantly surprised. They had hard boiled eggs, only 2 cereals, not a big deal though, plain and flavored oatmeal, hot chocolate, toast, jellies, bagels, muffins, herbal teas, waffles, juice, milk, yogurt, fruit-apples, bananas, coffee. You have to get there early b/c the waffles go quickly. There is a fitness center that I used very late at night and felt safe. You have to use your room key for access. There's a pool/hot tub. My husband/kids enjoyed them. I WOULD STAY AGAIN!

An excellent place to stay. Although it is close to a college campus, it was in a quiet neighborhood. We came to see the launch of the Discovery shuttle to the ISS and we found that the price here was very reasonable compared with what was being offered on the Space Coast. Breafast was excellent Pool area was very clean. We would definitely stay here again. Note. My wife complained that her mattress was lumpy and they immediately replaced it.

It is apparent this La Quinta is (and has been) meticulously maintained. The exterior is attractive, our guest room was clean and comfortable, the lobby is large and attractive, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The oversized lobby has numerous tables and chairs, where each morning the hotel hosted a complimentary breakfast buffet with quite an assortment: cereals, bagels, French toast, waffles, boiled eggs, juices, etc. The hotel is set back from the street (no traffic noise) on a beautifully landscaped site. The large side courtyard is walled and features ample seating and tables with market umbrellas - very relaxing. In my opinion, the accommodations are a great value for the price. The hotel is also pet friendly. On the front door of La Quinta Inn and Suites Orlando UCF is a little sign that reads, "If you can't give us a 10, please let us know why." This philosophy certainly shines through.
