I had booked this room for 6 days thinking we were not going to be in the room that much since we were on vacation. We could only make it for one. The odor in the front lobby was terrible from the lounge next door. Our room smelled like wet musty dog. As my sons were laying on the bed a cock roach crawled across the bedspread. Coming from Wisconsin this is not something my boys have ever seen. Our boys freaked out!!! My 13 year old wanted to sleep in the rental car. It was a good thing that we didn't get to the room until 12:30 am. We slept only a few hours. (The beds were terrific). In the morning we had the continental breakfast, which was very good. We were out of there by 8 am to find a better hotel on the coast. This is a place I would not reccommend to anyone. The gas station next door has bars on the windows and isn't open for inside service. This leads me to believe the neighborhood isn't the best.

This hotel is extremely convenient in location as it's near the junction of two highways. However, my first impression when I walked in to register was "smoke." It had a very strong smell of cigarettes, a turn off to a non-smoker. Luckily the rooms weren't the same way. The breakfast area was, and the continental breakfast left much to be desired. The muffins and pastries were dry, and there wasn't much selection. We needed two rooms for our family and there wasn't a connecting door, which I generally prefer. Although I'd consider staying here again, more than likely we'd spend the extra money to find another place more to our liking.

"For the price it was a nice hotel, it was clean and easy to get to. the staff was very friendly. they even have a complimentary continental breakfast from 6am - 9am which isn't advertised. The beds were ok, the weren't as soft and sturdy. We only stayed 1 night. We will come again It's about 15 min from the beach."
