The service was exactly what you would expect from the Ritz-Carlton with the added bonus of being very family friendly! They even have a kids check-in at the front desk that my daughters loved! The room was beautiful and extremely clean. We ordered pizza from room service and it was presented like a 5 star meal! We highly recommend the breakfast buffet at the Vineyard Grill! FYI- The room came with two adult bathrobes but you can request child size ones which were just too cute!

The executive sized beds are full sized beds. Ordered two rollaways because there were no other rooms with larger beds other than king sized. In addition, While advertising parental controls on the TV, the hotel does not offer any such controls. The front desk manager claimed they did not offer adult movies. Regarding service and amenities I give them an A+. I would recommend this hotel to families with children small enough to share a bed with and young enough not to operate a remote control. It is also very nice for adults who don't want children running all over the place provided they get a king sized bed. If not they will be sleeping in separate beds as many of out friends did.

Although the property is beautiful and the weather was perfect, we were disappointed with the quality of the service. On Saturday, July 5th, we could not find a single pool chair at the JW or the Ritz pools. We ended up paying $20 dollars for access to the Spa pool-- best money spent! The private spa area and pool were a true retreat. Despite the enjoyable spa area, we felt we had to keep "checking" things on our reservation-- regarding a credit we received for dining services and late checkout. The room was nice, but our room faced the courtyard (3rd floor) and was actually loud for a portion of the night (around 10pm). Paying guests do not appreciate hoards of "visitors" taking up chairs and pool space. I'd recommend heading to the property on a slower weekend and investing in the spa area.
