We would highly recommend this hotel. It is pricey but well worth it. Excellent location--we would just ride the monorail to the Magic Kingdom in the evening just to walk around for a few hours. We also ate quite a few meals at the Grand Floridian and we could also take the monorail there in a few minutes and just walk back to the Polynesian. We stayed at the Raratonga on the 3rd floor--very clean, very large room. Only complaint was the shower--not much water pressure and it would take several minutes for the water to get comfortable. My son loved looking a the monorail go by our window. Great location--near the bus station, a short walk to the TTC, right next to the Great Ceremonial Lodge, etc. Beautiful grounds. Good meals at the hotel, in fact, almost every meal we had at Disney was excellent. Highly recommend the Disney Dining Plan. Check in/out very smooth and quick. Good gift shops.

Well, let me start by saying this is a beautiful resort. We will definetely stay here again. I was a little concerned by the negative reviews I read before leaving. However, I did not experience 1 complaint that I read. The staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms are large. We stayed in the Tahiti building, room 2032 with a water view. We could see the Magic Kingdom Fireworks every night from our room balcony or the beach outside our room. Mousekeeping always cleaned our rooms well and left towels shaped like Mickey or Minnie for the kids. The halls and grounds were meticulous. The even found creative ways to use our lei's for decoration in the room. The rooms do appear a little dim when the blinds are closed, but this never posed a problem for us. Having access to the monrail was a big +. We could get to Magic Kingdom back and forth many times a day in a very short period of time. Transportation to Downtown Disney and the Water Parks took longer. But hey, you are on vacation. The grounds and the pool are exceptional. Everything is landscaped so beautifully. I felt like was back at my resort in Maui. They even lit Tiki Torches every night. The food at Kona and Ohana was very good. Very resort to return to after a long hot day in the parks. Very relaxing atmosphere.
