Hard rock with Kids

We stayed at the Hard Rock our last trip to Orlando. We usually stay with Disney so we rate customer service highly. The staff was friendly but were not forthcoming with any upfront info. The rooms were beautiful but lacked simple amineities that even a motel six would have like a heat lamp in the bathroom and a frig and microwave. The hallways were ten miles long and were always freezing. We chanced hypothermia every time we left the pool to go back t our room. Also we were charged $15 day for parking. We could have parked at the magic kingdom for less!! Definitely nice to be right next to parks. Great for our tweens, they loved it.

Fun at the Hard Rock

The Hard Rock is a wonderful location for families to stay at if they are visiting Universal studios and Island of Adventures. The express pass is incredible and allows you to get to the front of all lines at the rides- that alone is worth any extra money over other hotels in the area. You can save hours!!! The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are modern and spacious. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and is fun for all ages. The food and drinks are all very good, but a little on the pricy side. Another plus is guest laundry rooms available, although some of them are unclean and in need of repair. A short walk to everthing !!! I would definitely stay at the Hard Rock Hotel again!

Hard Rock Hotel ....ROCKS!

This was our first trip to Orlando. A friend suggested to stay at the Hard Rock and to upgrade to the CLUB level. Yes, it cost more, but the benifits are plenty. The breakfast, lunch snacks, dinner snacks, night snacks are awesome. Your room key is a Express Pass at the theme parks. The rooms are nice and clean. The service is top notch and very friendly. Our only error was not to book one more day just to hang out at the hotel pool side. It rained every day between 3-5pm and went into the evening. My only complaint would be that the internet should be part of the room cost....especially at the club level. We absolutely loved our stay at this great hotel. I would highly recommend staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and to upgrade to the Club level if your are doing the Universal Theme Parks. We WILL be back!

HARD ROCK HORROR

Visited the Hard Rock Hotel after a caribean cruise. Rented a king suite at * at night. The room was located near the pool with a view from a window. Other than being a bit more spacious the room was no different than a regular room. The room looked like it had not been used in a while and We found out why. We kept finding things missing in the room and had to keep calling the front desk. No key to the mini bar, Not enough towels in the bathroom, No Inroom Food menu. Three pillows on the bed instead of four. Strange. About six oclock the music was raised outside by the pool and after four hours of listening to bass music and having the wall in the suite shake from the loud music, we had to call the manager to try to get some quite so we could sleep. I asked how much longer We had to listen to this loud music and the manager said it is usually played untill 12:00am. After about 10 minutes the music did get turned down. We could still hear the base. The next morning the music again began at about 10:00am Same thing loud bass music. Upon checking out reported again to the desk about the loud music. Was only offered an apology. The room and the Loud music what a ripp off.. I will never stay in this hotel again nor will I encourage anyone else to.

Well Worth Price

So me...I'm cheap and always look at price, but my wife convinced me that Hard Rock would be worth the price......and I hate to say it, but she was right. We went all out and got the top floor "Club Level" and if you have drinkers and eaters in your party, this will pay for itself. The hotel's energy just plain rocks, close to most things, and true Rock 'N Roll service! So now that I have been gently pried away from my wallet, I will always stay at Hard Rock when in Orlando.
