Enclave Suites at Orlando - Orlando, USA 

After reading some absolutely horrific reviews I was dreading going to check in. When we arrived my fiance and I went to check in and were met by a pleasant receptionist who sorted out our room key. Before we lugged all of our cases into the lift, we decided to go and check our room out. The key card worked first time to let us into block two and we got the lift upto the fourth floor. I was a little dismayed to find our room was at the side of the laundry facilities, but we let ourselves in and were pleasantly surprised. The room's air con was on, the place was clean and tidy, there was a complimentary pack of coffee and some bathroom essentials. The room had a kitchen with fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher, oven, basically all the amenties you would need. We had a balcony that overlooked Wet 'N' Wild and our other window looked out over the pool. The key thing for me was that there was no-one above us! We decided we wouldn't get a better room so went to get our bags. As it turned out we never heard anyone use the laundry facilites and the hotel was very quiet at night. The staff were incredibly friendly, room service came every day and gave us new bedding and new towels. We had a large TV and sofa which we found useful! The pool had loungers and inflatables and complimentary towels. The pool was great as was the jacuzzi. The people in the shop were friendly and helpful too. At the end of the day you get what you pay for. There was slight damage to two of the kitchen cupboards and some of the bathroom grout was slightly discoloured, but considering we only slept in the room, it didn't bother us! International Drive is an amazing location to stay at. My fiance and I recommend TGI Friday's which is just across the road or Chilli's on the corner for dinner. Ponderosa, Denny's and I-Hop were great for American breakfast. Enclave Suites are about 10 minutes away from Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and 15 minutes away from Walt Disney World. This was our first time to Florida and we had an absolutely fantastic time! In fact we loved it so much, we're thinking of doing it all again in 2009! Stop giving Enclave a hard time, I will be staying there again because for what we paid it was worth every penny!
