We got a warm greeting on arrival and a free upgrade to a king room. The room was a good size (and even if it wasn't, who goes to New York to sit in their hotel room) and the bed was amazing, if I could have fit it in my suitcase it would have come home with me! Room had a view of the 17th Precinct police station and fire department (great for spotting all the firemen! Empire State, Rockerfella, Central Station, Times Square/Broadway, Central Park all within walking distance and as for 5th Avenue, well it's only 5 minutes away (great for all that shopping you have to carry back). Cabs passed the hotel all the time and were easy to flag down.. Read review

Most staff helpful and friendly, nice rooms.

We had to change because they didn't reflect the same as the web site and so the hotel decides a guest is warm or cold enough - on a warm April night I was told by a rude night manager "no air for you.

Well located, location of hotel was ideal right in the middle of down town Manhatton and the staff were very helpful we needed any information. Room was always clean.
