What Travellers Like

First the hotel is great for the price ( I rather spend my money shopping in New York and not on a hotel room where you basically only sleep anyway) and the location is perfect. In a few minutes you're at Macys and on 34th and Times Square is only about 5 minutes by bus as well. I've stayed in other hotels with shared baths before with rather bad experiences, but the Latham's bathroom was cleaned several times a day it seemed and I never once found it occupied when I needed it. The room was relatively big for NY standards and for this type of hotel and even had a queen bed, which was comfortable and clean. The staff at the reception was very nice and helpful and the security guards are very friendly. If you d'ont expect a five star luxury hotel, you're getting more than what you paid for and after all NY is about location more than comfort and I'm sure most people rather spend their money shopping than paying over 300$ a night for a hotel where you only spend a few hours a night anyway!.
