The price was excellent for an ensuite hotel room in Manhatten. The rooms are quite small (as they all are in New York) but it was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.. Read review

Finding affordable accommodation in new york in November, or any time for that matter, is nearly impossible. I stayed in a superior room (queen bed, big room for NY standards + shower) which was affordable even in South African Rands! They have rooms for all types, if you're backpacking or if you can afford to spend money on a private bathroom. The decor was fun, and the room was clean.. Read review

This hotel was the cheapest with private bathroom inside the room I found in the city, that's why I chose it. The room is very small, but both the room and bathroom are clean. People were nice and gave me tips for the subway and taxis. The subway station is also close (1 1/2 block).. Read review

As this was my first trip to New York it was important that we had a central location (but not right in the bright lights of Times Square! The location of the hotel was spot on - not too far from the subway, an easy walk to the Empire State Building, and half way in between Central Park and Meatpacking/Soho, so great for getting around. The room was basic but clean, with plenty of storage space (we paid a little more for a superior room). The lift sometimes took some time to come - there is only one - but we took the pragmatic approach of taking the stairs, on the way down at least!. Read review

We liked the attached coffee shop, good places for breakfast near and staff were generally quite friendly. Additionally the room was clean.
Location brilliant for sightseeing, times Square and having already done my homework as
regards internal services lived up to its description as clean.
