The public areas need a major clean up. No swimming pool - great location, close to Times Sq and most of the shows.
The staff does make an effort.
My step son got sick and we had to stay and extra night - they raised the rate.

Great location, very friendly staff. We had to call for service twice and they were very prompt getting what we needed. Traveled with husband and two kids ages 14 and 10. We had a spacious room with king bed and pull out sofa. Wait staff and check give excellent service. It felt like we were right in Times Square. Would recommend and stay there again.
Within walking distance of all major attractions.

It's a pretty good hotel. A little tight in the halls and the rooms, but even our stroller fit everywhere, but don't let them charge you extra fees.
It was slightly upscale, sleek, modern, and simple.
Price to have 2 beds in my room was unfortunate and expensive.

This hotel was fine for a short stay. But it definitely does not meet the characteristics I would expect of a 3 1/2 star hotel. Not a welcoming place. Dark, dreary, uninviting. It is in an excellent location, however. Just don't advertise it as a 3 1/2 star hotel, because it is not.
Location to times square and central park.
Dark, narrow hallways, poorly lit, uninviting.
