We arrived 2 o'clock in the afternoon and we were ready to wait for the room till the check-in time (3pm). Front desk clerks took care of us immidiately. They gave us a room with two double beds and a bunk - really big, newly renovated (working TV, new sink, windows, clean carpet, pictures! We also found a towels and soap on the beds and when we needed more we were getting it from the reception. The room service is only upon the request, so if you want the housekeeper to clean your room you have to ask about this and leave the key at the front desk. We never see even one bed bug or roach here! All of the information about tours, museums, clubs! They have also the internet access in the lobby! The location of West End Studios is also great.. After reading several negitive reviews and with no where else to go we went to the West End Studios as I needed to be in this area for a meeting. I was most pleased with the quality of service, and professionalism I was greeted with. The rooms where clean, very clean, and based on reading some reviews before I layed down I inspected the beds, Glad to say they were very clean as well. West End Studios, you might not be the best but you were great for me, and I WILL BE BACK SOON.. Read review

NYC price tag then stay elsewhere, but if you are a tourist like we were and looking to esxplore NYC and have a clean and comfortable place to sleep, then book this hotel. We found shared bathrooms not to be a problem as there are 2-3 on each floor and only 8-10 rooms per floor.. Read review
