3.3We stayed at the Days Inn and I knew from the frist call to the hotel they would be rude. I called to get info about a shuttle and the lady did not even give me a chance to offer to pay. She asked me how many people were with me. When I told her two, she said no and hung up. We took a cab from the airport to the hotel! The rooms were small but clean. We only used the hotel to lay our heads. The hotel gets repeat visitors because of the ideal location. The 96th street subway station is roght on the corner, tons of food places around to get reasonable eats (Cafe Con Leche has great happy hour drinks, 2 for o1 specials and the Europena bakery is open 24 hours and serves great Everything for under 5 bucks) What the hotel lacks in ammenities (you have to pay for the internet) it makes up for in price and location. Central park is minutes away, Columbia Univ. is down the street and we loved eberything about the area. Suggestions, use the hotel to sleep and bathe and you can avoid the rude workers. Keep your doors locked as they do not check the ID of people coming in and out of the hotel, and use public transportation! We would stay here again! Beds are small!
