0The hotel was under renovation, and because of the scaffolding, the taxi passed the hotel twice, so they need to get their name out there better.
The hotel lobby was quite dark and almost gloomy.
There was not enough staff at check in so I waited close to 15 minutes for that.
My room was one of the renovated ones, in deco/retro colors of red, black and white. The room was clean, but low and behold, the bed was a pull out couch, which was never stated that way on the website. It wasn't your usual pull out mattress and was quite thick and comfortable, however I had no sheets or pillows for the bed. I called to front desk 3 times over an hour long period, and finally fell asleep with no pillows or bed linens ever arriving.
When I spoke to management the next day, I got an apology, but no compensation as to a discount, a drink or meal in a local bar or anything.
