My first trip to New York. Great location.I really enjoyed the hotel. Room was just the right size for two people. Large bathroom. Needed another glass shelf on the wall. The towels were so soft and smelled like you were in a Spa. The people at the front doors and at the desk were very helpful. If we wanted to go some where they would print us out a map. They also gave us their business card in case we had any problems. There is a great place to eat across the street. The only complant I have was we visited the bar and you could tell the girl who worked that night did not want to be there. Not very friendly. Take the bus tours of the city. The guys in the red jackets are very helpful in helping you choose. Do the 48 hours package.

Stayed at the Chandler Hotel for one night (July 4th). Very convenient if arriving by train - less than two blocks from Penn. Arrived before check-in, so went to get a cup of coffee. Upon returning, it was still before check-in (perhaps 2:30) but was told my room was already available, and had been upgraded to king at no charge. Room was on the small side (expected - it's NYC) but clean, bright & well-furnished. Bathroom clean & modern. I was pleasantly surprised by the free lobby computer & fitness center. Location is great - mid-town, close to plenty of attractions. Entire staff was very helpful & very nice. Upon returning to our room later that evening, we found the bed straightened & the next day's weather forecast. Will definitely stay again

Very nice hotel in the very centre of Manhattan. The rooms are cozy and clean and the staff was really nice and very very helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel but enjoyed the other facilities such as the library (with internet access), the fitness room and the free coffee not the least. This is definately a place I would like to return to.
