My Mum slept in the upstairs bedroom with a glazed roof (Beware if you're not an early riser - they don't have curtains so you'll get woken up by the sunshine) The kitchen area is small (perfect for cooking a snack, but don't expect to cater a dinner party) Beds were OK and they had two great leather sofas. Staff were helpful (we asked for an extra duvet and it arrived within 5 mins) and they let us leave our bags in the office after we checked out. It's not a 5 star hotel - but was cheaper than booking two hotel rooms and ideal for two singles, or two couples. Decor had seen better days but it was also nice to relax in the evening rather than have to go out every night or stop holed up in hotel room.. Read review

In short, the location is first class if you love Greenwich Village. The room is a good size but the sofa bed is the most uncomfortable bed i've EVER slept on.. Read review

We stayed in a one-bedroom on the second floor which had very small windows and was somewhat "cave-like," but the room and furnishings were clean. It didn't look like the bathroom or kitchen had been updated for quite some time but the overall convenience of the location outweighed all the negatives. What really made the difference was the exceptional service.. Read review
