  • My husband booked the room after finding it's website. We had a suite , its' worth the extra $10. The room looked like it had been recently painted, and we found it VERY clean. The view from the 12th floor was spectacular, the neighborhood, was very quiet and I felt safe walking up to Zabar's (bagels, coffee & food) about 2 blocks away. I found the lobby, and the adjacent parlor very neat and clean. The elevators are very small, if you have more than 2 people with lots of luggage you may have to make 2 trips. I never felt afraid, and I found the native NY-ers friendly along the way.. Read review

  • We had one of the suites which is basically two inter-connecting rooms with a bathroom in between. The bathroom is no bigger than a postage stamp but is good enough for a shower at the end o the day and in the morning. The sheets were crispy clean and the bed comfortable. We had two tv's and two air conditioning units in our suite, plus a refridgerator and microwave. The desk staff are very friendly and helpful and always have a smile and say hi. If you are a budget-minded tourist and just want a simple, no frills but clean and comfortable place to sleep for a reasonable price, for a couple of nights to see New York, this is the place to make your reservation.. • So many charming shops, restaurants, parks and very convenient to EVERYTHING as far as public transit goes. We had a two room suite for two people and it was just fine. Sheets & towels were clean, though the beds were a bit small. The elevator is SMALL, just enough for two people and one or two luggage - but it got us to and from our room all week long with no delays. Similar rooms in nearby hotels run at least $100 more to get a private bathroom.. Read review

Easy to get to Central Park and the view is nice. A great place to have breakfast is the Cafe 82 on Broadway and the staff is very helpful and courteous. They have a quaint little common room that reminded me of traveling outside the US you can access free internet. ... Read entire review
