"Surely Better Than Expected!"

At the start of January I had to be in the Lower East Side for Business reasons, and I am highly content with choosing the Blue Moon Hotel. I found the property through Expedia, but I always book direct because it comes out to be cheaper. The rate for my room was great, and the room itself was just better than expected. At first i thought, because its a small hotel, I would surely get a small room, but I couldent have been more mistaken. Plenty of Restaurants were close by, so everything was convenient. I couldent have asked for more.

Stayed here with my adult daughter on our annual trip to NYC. We have stayed at many hotels at differing price points in the W. Village, E. Village and Lower East Side. This is by far the most comfortable hotel, in the best neighborhood and for a great price. Immaculate and homey, the owners and staff treat you as guests in their home and are on the lookout to make your stay more perfect at every opportunity. As a NYC history buff, this was a chance to live in history....magnificently and lovingly rehabbed up with every modern convenience. Directly across from the Tenement museum, Blue Moon is a former tenement building restored with original materials found on site when the building/hotel was frozen in time. Convenient to Museums, Chinatown, Little Italy and great shopping. Safe neighborhood and breakfast included make this hotel a serious keeper.

We stayed her for five days in October. As soon as we arrived, we were treated great. We were greeted by Antonella who is a fabulous person. Our room was clean and all the amenities were sufficient. Antonella recommended a fabulous restaurant (TRE) that was true to her word. We met the owner a couple of times who always seemed concerned about our stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any New York City traveler.

I had the great fortune to stay at the Blue Moon Hotel this week and found it a little jewel! It is in the new hip area way downtown Manhattan and it has such a charming atmosphere. The staff (Randy, Andy, Larry) were all fantastic and so welcoming. I couldn't help but feel comfortable and relaxed. The hotel is restored and some beautiful features. I stayed in the Abbott and Costello room. Everything was fresh and clean. There is a cute lounge area in the front which hosted breakfast in the morning. We also had all of the amentities of other hotels, however, they also allowed usage of DVD players in my room and had DVD's for free in the lobby! I highly recommend the Blue Moon. I plan to go back.
