Chateau Hotel - New Orleans, USA

this is a older hotel in the heart of new orleans french quaters. we stayed in room 221 and loved every minute of our stay. everyone was very nice and helpful. we stay in new orleans twice a month but never in this hotel. we will definatly be staying there again!!!

Yes, it is a "quaint" hotel. I was on the first floor so I did not have a patio. My "view" was of the alley with garbage cans and standing garbage water. Yes, they do have secure off-street parking...for SIXTEEN DOLLARS A NIGHT (Free for AAA members). The bellman was nice; I gave him a $10 tip. Circumstances came up that did not allow me to spend the night so I can't say if the nightlife interferes with your sleep.

Ioved the victorian style rooms i stayed in the 2 floor villa with an awesome view and a balcony which was a steal got a free upgrade for being a travel agent and free parking with AAA card. the management is awesome<br>closeevrything 1 block away rom fresh market cafe 2 blocks from bourmon st

The hotel is quite outdated, but perfect in any other meaning. Personnel is quite helpful and the location is unbeateble form the prize range. Check for the prize before going, cause I understand that in high season they charge you a rocket

I have stayed at The Chateau several times and wish it could be more often. The first time I stayed there I was alone in New Orleans - my first trip - and they were all so helpful in giving advice on what to see and where to eat, etc. Everytime I&#39;ve been back, my expectations are exceeded. This is a Great Place - with a feeling of a friendly bar or restaurant that always welcomes you back. Can&#39;t wait to go back...........
