We were upgraded to a larger corner room which was super! The bed, pillows and shower were well above average! The only downside - you have to pay to use the internet, either in your room or in their small, one desk "Business Center. For a hotel this nice I expected the Business Center to have free internet service.. Read review

I stayed here in June 2008 while my daughter was at orientation at Tulane University. The valet dinged my car and the hotel would not help me or pay anything. They hit the BMW so bad it will cost $935.00 to repair it. They refused to pay and would take on any responsibility and denied it happend. The hotel would do nothing. The rooms were bad the location is awful without a view of the river at all. I will never stay here again. This place will close down soon. Your crazy if you stay here.

Nightmare at the Wyndham! Posted: Sat, Sep 13 2008

I stayed here for my daughter's orientation for Tulane University. Valet parking put a dent in the side of my BMW that ended up costing $935.00 to fix. They said to send them three estimates and they would pay the least expense one, which I sent them. Then they didn't want to pay any of them. They told me to turn it into my insurance and I refused to do it. And then after complaining and telling them I was going to an attorney they said they would only pay $500.00 since I signed a paper saying they are only responsible for that much. They said they would send me a copy of the paper I was suppose to of signed, which I did not sign. I have yet to recieve the copy of the paper. They only paid $500.00 and I was lucky to get that much. They manager did nothing to help, the Wyndham company did nothing. You are a fool to stay here. The hotel has no view of the river. It is old and the employees are rude. They also tried to charge me more then I booked it for, then that deducted the extra charge, minus the tax, which I had to make them then take off too. This place is a big ripe off. Never again will I ever stay here. Nothing is good here, don't be fooled into going here.
