Comfort Inn Hammond - New Orleans, USA 

Wonderful Weekend

After a long driving from Chicago for our family reunion I was glad we reserved rooms at this hotel. The beds were exactly what my aching back needed. Kids loved the pool and the staff was nice enough to point out some wonderful places to eat.

We had an OK stay!!!

We arrived at the hotel on a Friday night. The 1 staff person that was there was very friendly and helpful with places to get something to eat. He was also very busy considering 4 other people were checking in at the same time as us. The room was nice except for the mattresses on the beds were very uncomfortable. Myself, husband nor my child slept very well. The other thing that I didn&#39;t like was the pool. This place has a heated indoor pool...We went to take my son swimming and the area around the pool was filthy (beer cans, bikini tops &amp; bottoms, lots of floats, etc.) even though no one else besides us were out there. The hot tub had had bathing suits as well as some objects that I couldn&#39;t identify in it. It was just very filthy. Other than the pool and the mattresses it was a very nice stay. <br>P.S. The morning staff was not very friendly though. For the amount of money we spent I would have liked to sleep better and have gotten to swim in a clean pool..

STAFF SHOULD BE SACKED

I HAVE 1 THING TO SAY.......NEVER STAY HERE.<br><br>THE 2 STAFF WERE EXTREMELY DISCOURTEOUS AND UNFRIENDLY, I ENDED UP CANCELLING THE RESERVATION AND STAYING AT THE HAMPTON JUST DOWN THE ROAD, A FEW BUCKS MORE, BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY.
