By Car: From the West/Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (26 minutes/13 Miles): - Continue on the I-10 East through the New Orleans Business District. - Remain in the lane designated as I-10 East/Slidell. - Continue on the I-10 to Orleans Ave/Vieux Carre exit, which turns into Basin Street. - Continue on Basin Street to Conti Street and turn left. - Take Conti Street 6 blocks to Chartres Street. - Turn left on Chartres and go one block to Saint Louis Street. - The hotel is located on the corner of Chartres and St. Louis Streets.
Amtrak train station is located one mile away from the hotel.

The location is indeed perfect and an ideal place to explore the city. Staff is very accommodating, the food is fabulous including room service.
Great location, nice atmosphere and the service was even better. The room was well appointed, the staff at the reception was wonderful as was the food.
