Naples Beach Hotel And Golf Cl - Naples, USA 

The hotel area in general needs work. Everything looked old and run down. The patio area around the pool was clean but very worn and not physically maintained. The wood decking looked like it hadn't been stained in years and the steps were pitched from wear. The hallways and rooms looked like they were out of the 50's. Furniture was not the cleanest, but the bedding was. Location in Naples is excellent, but that was about it. Golf course and club house looked beautiful, but the price for the rooms and amenities at the resort itself is out of line for what they had to offer in my opinion. Would not recommend or return. Loved Naples and will return to visit, but will not stay at this resort.

We have just returned from five days at the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club. The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach in beautiful Naples, on the Gulf of Mexico, Florida. There are many buildings on the 125 acre property, and we stayed in the Penthouse Wing which was lovely. It was so nice to be able to just walk outside and lay on the beach every day. And those Naples beaches are truly wonderful... much nicer than the east coast beaches of Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. What a perfect way to relax for a few days. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet was very extensive and excellent value for money. In fact, all the restaurants were wonderful, our favorite being HB's on the Gulf. There we enjoyed several lunches and a beautiful sunset dinner. My daughters even spotted several dolphin in the water while we were eating. And one day while we were actually swimming in the water, four manatees swam by, within six feet of us. That was an incredible sight to see. The hotel has a first class golf course and several tennis courts, although we didn't play any golf or tennis ourselves, but we did make use of the superb spa facilities. My daughters and I all enjoyed massages and spending time in the saunas and steam rooms and even ordered lunch while we were in there. The service was superb at all times. They have a late night snack shop, the Seminole Store, serving all sorts of things like sandwiches, pizzas, pastries, coffee and a wide range of international chocolate and other delights. One night, we dashed through the rain to get cups of cocoa and German chocolate to enjoy whilst watching a movie in the room. My daughters loved that, and what a lovely memory that is for me. All in all, I'd rate this hotel very highly for the overall experience... the room, the food, the location, the whole ambiance. I would never have imagined that sipping a glass of wine on the beach wall outside HB's, watching the lightning out at sea, could be so peaceful and enjoyable. Just relaxing, conversing, and spending quality time with my family. I can't wait to do it all again next year!
