The hotel room was clean and very nice - and cheap in comparison with all the other places we had a look at. What intrigued me most was the excellent service and helpful manners of the staff, since we needed a letter mailed to us from the US to Nicaragua, where we went by car after leaving Miami. Well, we got our letter and say a big "thank you" to the Clay Hotel, whose staff is multi-lingual and always helpful.. Read review

The location is good, the hotel is situated in a lovely part of South Beach and i think the clay 'motel' should post the rooms actually look than maybe you will get better ratings.
