The hotel itself had been restored to a true 1930's style using the orginal furniture they found in the basement when they refurbished the hotel in the late 1990s. The rooms, while not by any means luxurious, were cozy and bright. The lobby was straight out of a black and white flick, and the pool/garden area was so peaceful, especially with music from the 30's and 40's softly drifting out from behind the palms. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Parking was $6 a day on the street, which was easy enough since we didn't want to be driving at all while we were there, so we parked in the same spot all weekend.. Read review

While traveling on business I was pleasantly surprised with the high standard and comfortable accommodations at Indian Creek Hotel. Heaving problems with allergies I was pleasantly surprised to discover newly renovated rooms with hardwood floors. Due to the problems with my flight I arrived late and with out my luggage the stuff at the reception provided their help in arranging for all my necessities their knowledgeable and professional stuff made me feel like at home away from home.. The staff at the front desk are polite and helpful and the breakfast waiter very friendly (and a bit slow). So breakfast lasted a couple of minutes more, but this gave us the opportunity to appreciate the lovely garden - we got a bit of a feeling being in the S. The 1st room had an interconnecting door to a 2nd room. So we heard (clearly and loudly) a couple in love during some excercising in the room next door.. Read review
