This hotel was more than what I expected. It was beautiful and warm. I will definitely come back and enjoy the beautiful hotel.

the only bad thing is there is NO parking,it is all valet $35.00 a night or park 4 to 6 blocks away and walk.This is the Beverley Hills of California;Southbeach,Miami;The best thing to do is use a shuttle bus,taxi or walk.Overall we had a great time but thank the Lord for credit cards.I was very unaware that this was a tourist trap but I would go again to Miami,only to a different area.

Visited the property in June 2009 , and it was a truly enjoyable stay . The rooms were small , but clean . I will say the walls are on the thin side but can honestly say it's a older hotel what do you expect . The front desk staff was charming and helpful at ever turn . Will give a FYI - check in time is at 4pm . So , I will plan a early arrival again . The restaurant weas pleasant , the wait staff was prompt and the food was good . As far as beverages go ... FYI take a walk down Lincoln Rd there is a CVS there to get all your water and soda . there is a mini frig in the room . The beach and the pool were nice . And , the beach is a very short walk down a path . You will pay for your chair rental ( $10.00 a day ) It was nice and quuiet . I can honestly say , I am genuinely pleased with this hotel being a single woman and traveling alone . Hopefully , I gave you a few helpful hints and a honest review of this property . It truly was a pleasure .

Negatives-- The front desk is clueless. There is a $50 a day security deposit that was never mentioned on the website and was not taken the last time we were there. So a $250 hold was placed on my card...not a small amt by any means. The food is very overpriced in the eating area. The pool is cleaned but not normally till middle of the day. The walls are paper thin. The maid staff is atrocious our room was cleaned 3 of 5 days...they came around one time and if you were sleeping and asked them to come back they never did. Positives-- The hotel is right on the beach. The pool and hottub are very convenient as well. The place is cheap so thats a positive.

ALL of the front desk people were MORE than friendly, the pool area was beautiful, the beds were comfy, the room was clean and the customer service was great! We had 2 robes w/ plenty of towels, nice large room. Sure the walls are thin...but who cares! I wasn't in Miami to pass the time away in my hotel room. The shower and floors were all clean, clean linens, clean towels, small walk in closet came in very handy, our luggage and clothes weren't spread all over our room. Maybe it was the location of our room? We were the room right next to the elevator...maybe our neighbors were the quiet type, or maybe we just got lucky...but I LOVED THIS PLACE! I wouldn't even think twice about staying here again...the walkway to the beach is also fabulous! I'll post some pics of the hotel soon.
