The Wave Hotel review

The Wave Hotel is in a great location. It was just south enough to be away from the crowds so we could sleep well at night. Yet it was close enough to the action to walk everywhere. There is a TGIFridays right nearby as well as a deli that is open until about 4 am. We had no problems with the service at the hotel and the free breakfast was good. We were able to get there early on check in day and change clothes in the bathrooms, leave our bags with the front desk and go to the beach. (It's right across the street.) The only thing that was a bummer, was the walls are paper thin. We heard everything going on next door. The room itself was small, but nice (like most of Southbeach). The bed is a platform bed, so it will be harder and lower than some beds. Enjoy your stay, wherever you go!

We had a great six nights at the Wave. It is close to the beach and the staff was very friendly We stayed there last year and plan to agiain Nice place for a fair price

Small room but great shower. Promise of large screen TV not there. Any noise outside clearly heard in room through single pane windows so request garden view. Over air conditioned (cold). Great lobby and bar and front entrance.

The front desk was friendly. The room was by no means spectacular but it sufficed as a place to sleep. Construction across the street made it hard to sleep in passed 8 o'clock. It is on the end of the strip which puts you almost close to the action at an affordable price for those on a tight budget.
