The Wave Hotel - Miami Beach, USA 

Had a good time. Everything was good. However, the continental breakfast needs to change a bit.

My boyfriend and I just had our first trip to Miami and stayed at The Wave for 4 nights... wed-sun. Location- The location was perfect... it's on Ocean Dr. so the beach is literally right across the street. And it's on 3rd St which is about 2 blocks away from the action.... just the right walking distance and just enough distance to block out all the noise. Price- I booked my reservaton on the hotel's website and they were having a special so we payed 93 for the first 2 nights and 118 for the last 2 nights. From looking at a lot of other hotels, this price was very reasonable. Appearance- I really liked the lobby and the patio outside. There were big comfy sofas and couches so you could always just relax after a long day. The rooms were okay... they were tight on space and a little plain but it was no big deal. The beds were pretty comfy but definitely need more blankets... there was only a sheet and a thin quilt. There was a nice tv, mini bar, and pretty big closet. The room also came with a hair dryer and iron. Parking- They have their own parking lot. There is a charge, but it's worth it. Staff- The staff was pretty friendly to us. One of the staff members that stood out was a guy named Jose. He was there 3 out of the 4 days and helped us out a lot! All in all i enjoyed my stay at The Wave. I would recommend it and most likely stay there again.
