1WARNING...!!
I'm in shocked even up to now May/02/2007, I still can't believe it
and still fighting to get my money Back.
I booked my Hotel back in Feb-2007 to this hotel in Miami,
South Beach. "PRESIDENT" On collins Ave.
My arrivel date was for April/04/2007
Traveling with My Family (Wife, two teenegers and a Baby)
Going to a cruise.
We arrived that date 4/04/2007 about 6:00PM to the Hotel.
There was a Cuban Guy in his 50's at the Front Desk.
I told him: "Hi, I'm checking in" ; He responded "There is no rooms" !
I said, "What do you mean, there is no rooms?, I booked my
rooms two months ago" !
He responded "I said, there is no rooms, and please let me do
my work becuase I need to book 60 people right now" !
you take care of that with your agency Orbitz.
At the moment, two more parties walked in to check-in and
He told them the same thing.
So I went to look for another Hotel around close by, I found
one and I acommodated my family.
Next day I called Orbitz and Reported the Problem and told me
not to worry that they will refund me my Money.
I came Back home and called Orbitz to go over the Problem,
A lady : Jessie, Orbitz TLC, Customer Service Supervisor.
Told me to hold down to call the Hotel, then she came back
telling that the Hotel Said : "I CHECKED-IN A DAY LATE" !!!!!!!
So there for they will hold a day charge against me.....!
I faxed her my Date of My reservations from Plane tickets and
the date and time I picked up my rental Car.!
She still said to me that the Hotel is saying I checked-in a day late
and they will charge me that day.
What about my vacation day wasted, the hassle to go out there
and find another Hotel, extend one more day of the rental Car
that I did to fix this problem...?
and on top, they're charging me a day because of their Lie...!
I would like to take it farther and some tell me how.
They probably did the same thing to the other two parties that
were checking-in at the same time that day..!
And they probably will keep doing this to others as well.
I WOULDN'T GO TO THIS HOTEL......!
Ahhh! I even called the hotel to check my confirmation before my
departure just to make sure I wouldn't get any sorprises.!
Would you like to tell me something what to do agaist this
Hotel, Please do so.
