My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful 9 nights stay at this fantastic hotel/restaurant in Impruneta just outside Florence.
This was a holiday to cherish for ever. Of course the scenery was wonderful, of course the sun was warm and of course Florenece was as impressive as ever! However this holiday is to be cherished for the wonderful service provided by the staff/Family that is the Hotel Bellavista. From the momment we arrived we were given excellent personal attention by Matteo and his brother and dad and not forgetting the effervescent Mum Roberta. These people put one to shame with their work ethic and thier ability to constantly smile and be attentive no matter how busy and how hot it was (94 degrees most days).
Our room was tastefully and subtely decorated and had a good view from the side aspect of the building. We did not hear noise from any other guests. The town is lively til around 11:30 -12 midnight so expect some chatter and laughter to seep into your windows at night. There is good air conditioning in the room, and again Matteo will set that for you.
Now food! we ate here on a half board basis 40 euro's for two of us per night. (no set half board menu, you choose allacarte)We ate like kings. The food is superb, rustic romatically Tuscan and makes you feel healthy. The wine is very reasonably priced and of course local and fabulous.
Please stay here when you visit Tuscany. Oh by the way dont feel you need a car. We used local air conditioned buses every day and toured almost all of Chianti and Tuscany.
Thanks so much to the Bellavista for such a memorable time. We will be back.

My wife and I felt very at home here. The family owners took great care to make sure we had a good time and found our way around town. Their dinners are excellent and we loved being out of the city with some room to roam. The rooms were clean and comfortable and most importatly safe. Matteo arranged a private wine tasting at a local vineyard which was one of the highlights of the trip.
