Reason of the poor ratings: in the 2 days the internet connection was not working :-(( We booked this inn also because of Wifi inside. The receptionist was not able to organize the rapair or exchange of the main internet router.

We stand for two Days Sightseeing in Hollywood. The Bath tube was mouldy, the floorcarpet was dirty, the Breakfastroom and the Breakfast, you can show it in all cabarets. Aircondition loud as a Truck. We can follow each step from Upper Level.

The room was not ready when we got there. We had to wait about 30 minutes till it is clean. The staff is not welcoming, and cannot help with information regarding food and dinning in the area of the hotel.

the toilet overflowed in the evening! no one helped clean it up even if i asked the front desk. i stayed 4 nights, and was only given 2 days of internet access. when i asked for it, they grudgingly gave another day of access. they are not accommodating and speak rudely to their guests. i did not feel like i was a guest at all. it was not a hotel/motel service-wise. it was more of a place to stay if you're on a budget but don't expect anything more. no friendly staff at all. the "lobby" if you can call it that, was a small room (3mx3m) that fit an old worn-out couch. there was a window with a hole where you speak to the receptionist and check-in. overall it was a place to sleep but i was disappointed mainly with the people who run it.

Horrible experience. Don't go there!!!!!!

Booked a Friday night with late check-in through Orbitz. The place is right on Hollywood Blvd and relatively cheap for LA. It looks nothing like the photo and the pool is tiny. When I arrived at 7PM I was told they had no room for me because of "plumbing problems" but they had a room at their other hotel, the Hollywood Inn Express South. That hotel was in downtown LA. I assumed it would be just as repulsive and poorly run and not even near where I wanted to be, so I turned down the room. Then they charged me for it anyway! After calling Orbitz 5 times to resolve the issue I have finally gone to my credit card company to dispute the charge. Apparently the manager refused to refund. They think they can send you to their other half-star location across town whenever they like. Very unpleasant experience.
