Helios Spa Hotel - Golden Sands, Bulgaria 

The hotel has good facilities, cf the building is great, nice views, spacious, with pools and stuff. However, they hardly clean the room. do not throw your towels on the floor to be washed, I have the impression that they dont replace them, but just fold them and put them back... so better don't put them on that soiled floor in the first place. The toilet seat must be cleaned before sitting. There is no minibar of course. the doors don't lock well. the food is terrible, generally boil-in-the-bag, or instant soups, or tasteless veggies. didnt try the meat, and didnt dare the fish- my father got himself a nice stomach ake after trying them! The cakes- unbelievably fake. but the stars are of course the staff! Totally rude. wanted to take a bannana for after dinner, you know, I get hungry later on, and they told me to put it back. Also, they ever so kindly informed me that this was not a pub but a four star restaurant. The general attitude of the staff is that THEY are making you a BIG favor by allowing you to stay in their hotel. Not a four star place for sure!!!!! Not even a place where you would want to go.
