I had to upgrade for a 2nd bed and also pay for parking in their tiny parking lot!
Breakfast.
Arrogant egotistical staff.

I will never stay here again. Although it's a great location, it is not a 2.5 star hotel, more like a 1.5/2 star. The housekeepers were not friendly, the front desk was ok, the rooms were always dirty and we had problems with housekeeping to get it cleaned up. 2.5 star is something like Courtyard Marriott, this was more like a Super 8, in my opinion.
The location.
The staff, the beds, the hotel in general, the cleaning was terrible as were the attitudes of the housekeepers.

The Carlyle Inn was fantastic. We would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Beverly Hills area. The entire hotel staff was very committed to making sure we had what we needed. The Courtyard is beautiful and they have a cozy sundeck. The complimentary breakfast is above and beyond what we expected. The host even went out of her way to make me scrambled eggs two of the three mornings we were there. I loved this hotel and can’t wait to return.
