Miserable, management needs to get its act together !

I have stayed here several times in the recent years. While it has never been good, it was never been too bad...but this time I can see the place is a disaster...the staff need heavy training. Where to begin.. - arrival - Mr XXX you are sharing a room with Ms XXXX....'excuse me?"....booking was all screwed up. Wasted 15-20 min at reception to sort this out - rate - the rate agreed (in writing) was not on the reservation record at the hotel. Receptionist promised to fix it after another 15 minutes of wasted argument time. Surprise, surprise when it came time to check out the rate was not changed and then another 20 minutes had to be wasted arguing about it and finally getting it corrected - hot water...dont wake up early and expect a hot shower, you will only get a tepid one (at best and after waiting 20 minutes) . When complaining to reception I was told " it is an old building....you need to wait a long time...." So I asked 'does that mean hot water is not guaranteed in this hotel".....No answer.... (at the time I was checking out another guest had same issue with the hot water...he got no response from the staff) - wake up call....my 530AM wake call never came....what is more fundamental than getting a wake up call when asked for... - the bill - had charges from other rooms on my bill ! Had to ask them to remove it ( which they did) All in all be prepared for miserable service, an I dont care attitude from incompetent staff and a hotel that is all veneer without substance. Unless the price is cheap, dont stay here...and dont forget the highway noise....bring ear plugs... -------------------
