Our room was directly under the Club room where chairs were dragged noisily beginning at 6:30am and ending at 11pm. Be certain to ask!!! We were moved the next morning after complaining. Upon checkout, were told that the rate we agreed on was not correct and we would have to pay an extra $. After returning home, we photocopied the original offer to prove they were wrong and we were owed $ . Two letters were sent....still waiting for a reply. 3 ground floor elevators were not working....manager had to walk to a higher floor to activate elevators. We walked the stairs...only to find our door key didn't allow us to exit the stairwell....we felt we were trapped (but "e caped" several floors later)...breakfast dining room help were elusive and the bill was twice incorrectly posted. EVERYTHING costs extra...including $. internet. Valet $. is the ONLY possible parking!!! Hotel is conveniently located and beds are comfortable. We will return to our favorite ...a beautiful B&B in Playa del Rey.

My wife and I stayed at the Ritz for our 4 wedding anniversary and had a great time from the moment we checked in. The staff were very friendly and attentive, greeting us by first name throughout our stay, we were even offered apple cider when checking in. Our room was very comfortable with great views to the Marina. I highly recommend the club level where you can enjoy cocktails or appetizers as well as light breakfast in the morning! The food and service were amazing and the views of the city were spectacular. There are several great restaurants and sites within walking distance of the hotel and the beach is just about 15 minutes by foot. My wife and I have stayed at many nice hotels around the world, and the Ritz truly stands out as offering the most personalized level of service in a luxurious environment. We will definitely stay again!

Delightful hotel and staff

The hotel is perfectly located in beautiful Marina del Rey overlooking the Marina. The staff and facilities are superb. We enjoyed a relaxing vacation; lounging by the pool, working out in the weight room, enjoying Jerne and shopping at nearby Abbott Kinney. We've already made reservations to come back in May.
