What Travellers Like

There is a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker in the room, all very clean. The tv has only about eight channels, but I didn't come to watch tv. Last night we went to the Grove for a movie and ate across the street at a great Korean sushi restaurant.. Read review

New windows and doors, air conditioning units, bath fixtures, the works. The hotel is built around a courtyard with a pool and pleasant and well kept garden. Secure parking via an electric gate adds to security. There's a great supermarket adjacent with a full deli and a Starbucks. The hotel provides in room coffee and a hair dryer. A month ago my family and stayed at another Hollywood hotel, paid twice the price, plus parking and had a dirty room because I wanted an indoor pool for the grandkids.. Read review

I booked two rooms there for a bachelorette party. It was clean, the lady at the front desk made us feel VERY comforatble. Other than that we felt safe, great location, and the rooms were clean.. Read review

We were looking for a super low budget place that was still clean, friendly, and in a good location. The rooms we had were clean and large, with a balcony having a table with umbrella and chairs overlooking the pool. We were wonderfully surprised by the refrigerator and microwave that we found in each of our rooms. Even more pleasantly surprising, at least compared with my other west-coast trips to more expensive hotels was the terrific water pressure in the shower. While the hotel has obviously not been refurbished lately, everything was clean and the staff was responsive to our needs The beds were comforatable, and there was a desk in each room and enough electrical outlets to meet the needs of the various devices we needed to use and charge. The low price and good location, with convenient access to tourist spots, a supermarket down the block and a laundry mat including wash-n-fold service across the street let us have the trip we wanted on the small budget we had.. Hotel room was fairly clean however for the money paid is not worth it. Area was not very secure. Parking lot a BIG problem. Continental breakfast - a big joke - what breakfast? Donuts and coffee ONLY. People not too friendly.

Not too many frills but reasonably clean and has a pool (I kept too busy to try it, but it looked well maintained). Remember that a lot of hotels charge extra for parking--it's included in the price with this place and parking can be a biatch in Hollywood.

This hotel was not located in the best area of Hollywood. The customer service was horrible. As for the rooms, they need a lot of updating. The bathroom mirrors have mold on them and they are very small. The bed was old, the blanket was old and yellow and the pillows were flat and moldy. Additionally, there was a lot of noise in the mornings. You can hear people walking to and from their rooms. The hotel did offer continental breakfast which was located in the lobby of the lodge. I didn't eat anything because there was a millions flies flying over the food. The hotel is advertised as being close to major attractions as Hollywood Blvd; it's SORTA close. Mostly, you just need a car in L.A. regardless where you stay. The only plus of this hotel was that there was free parking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Monday Morning Noise

The hotel location was not in the best area of hollywood. But the hotel itself was clean, comfy and I would recommend it or use this hotel again. The bathroom was plain and cramped up and needed a bit of updating. The other problem I had was the Monday morning housekeeping noise. There were several workers shouting or talking back and forth and a small child crying non-stop in the early morning.

When I found this hotel online, I had some doubts but I wanted to keep my entire trip cost down so I opted for this hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The room was a nice value room. Shower was hot and strong. Towels were soft and full. Pillows were medium and adequate. It was a nice room to come back to during the trip. The location was excellent for walking to Hollywood Blvd. and other shopping and sites. Paramount Studios is nearby. Enterprise car rental was about a block away (very useful and recommended). Upon renting a car, the hotel guest parking is gated and secure. Reliable food is also nearby. I'd stay here again if I go back to the Hollywood area. I also had to make use of the washer and dryer; glad they had one!
